BCEGI is the main contractor for the £1 billion Middlewood Locks mixed use development, a brand new neighbourhood in Salford and at the gateway to Manchester city centre.
Real estate investor and developer Scarborough Group International specifically chose to work in partnership with us to help deliver the 24.5 acre regeneration scheme, which is set to deliver 900,000 sq ft of commercial and mixed use development including offices, hotel, shops, restaurants and a gym as well as 2,215 new homes.
Middlewood Locks is being developed by FairBriar International, a joint venture between Scarborough, Hualing Group of China and Singapore listed Metro Holdings Limited.
The first phase of the development which comprises 571 apartments and 10,000 Sq ft of commercial space officially topped out on 31 October 2017. The internal fit out is now underway and the first residents are expected to move in spring 2018.
