Another major milestone for BCEGI and for one of the largest single regeneration projects in the Northwest has been reached this week as dignitaries gathered to mark the occasion.

We are pleased to announce that on 2nd November, Beijing Construction Engineering Group (BCEG) won the ‘Chinese Investor in the UK’ category at the 2022 British Business Awards. This was collected by Wenjing Dong, Regional Director (BCEGI UK).

BCEGI have signed demolition agreements with Wigan Council and Cityheart. This much anticipated work is set to start on site immediately for the proposed £135 million redevelopment of the former Galleries shopping Centre in heart of Wigan town centre.

BCEGI and Airport City Manchester have announced practical completion on the development’s new ibis budget Manchester Airport and Holiday Inn Manchester Airport.

Senior officials gathered to commemorate the start on site for the next significant phase of development at Middlewood Locks, the £1 billion new neighbourhood emerging between Salford and Manchester city centre.
